Solo Recital

Due to the winter storm predicted for this weekend, the Chiarina concert scheduled for Sunday, January 25 has been postponed. Ricardo Morales and Efi Hackmey will perform this program on Sunday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s. If you already have tickets for Sunday’s concert, they will be valid for the new date of May 3.

If you’re not able to attend on May 3, you can contact us by sending an email to info@chiarina.org to exchange your tickets for another concert this season, or to request a refund, or to let us know you’d like to donate your tickets to Chiarina as a tax-deductible gift.

Hailed for his “utterly natural musical grace” [New York Times], celebrated clarinetist Ricardo Morales returns to the Chiarina stage in a duo program with pianist Efi Hackmey. This bold spectrum of works features Francis Poulenc’s whimsical sonata, a piece written for Morales by Jacob Bancks, Paquito D’Rivera’s playful Three Pieces for clarinet and piano, and Brahms’s transcendent sonata in E-flat.
